This article describes how to refresh a Tableau Workbook (TWB) and publish it in PDF, PNG Image, or CSV format.
Requirements and Limitations
The Tableau Workbook must use the TWB file extension. A TWBX file cannot be used in this workflow.
Due to limitations in the Tableau SDK, only a Tableau Workbook that uses an extract can be refreshed via InfoBurst. A workbook that uses a live data source (TDE) is not currently supported.
Refresh and Publish a Tableau Workbook
- Catalog a Tableau Workbook
- Add the workbook to a Burst
- Create a Delivery
- Select Format PDF, PNG Image, or CSV
