BusinessObjects connection error "Server actively rejected connection"

The following error occurs when InfoBurst attempts to connect to BusinessObjects:


Server actively rejected connection. Please verify the name and port of the server in the platform configuration.


If the error occurs using a new platform, then ensure the Platform is properly configured and the BusinessObjects server is configured to accept WebApplicationContainerServer (WACS) connections.


If the error occurs for an existing Platform that was previously functioning, then re-start WACS and ensure no BusinessObjects server firewall rules have been implemented that block WACS communications (default WACS port = 6405)
