This article describes the requirements for installing InfoBurst and InfoBurst compatibility with related environments and software. Requirements may vary based on intended usage.
The following matrix details InfoBurst-supported environments, services, and third-party software. Compatibility is based on the current InfoBurst version only.

The following are minimum hardware requirements for InfoBurst operation:

|Disk||1GB on installation partition for application files|
2GB on C partition for initial installation
2GB minimum free space at all times for system operation
Tip: Use a dedicated database/schema for easier backup and recovery.

Driver: InfoBurst deploys and utilizes the Oracle Managed Data Access driver. No Oracle client software is required.

We recommend InfoBurst be installed on a server separate from BusinessObjects. Major version and support package updates are supported within 90 days of general release.
Web Service Connectivity
InfoBurst communicates with SAP BusinessObjects via the Business Intelligence Platform Web Services (BIPRWS). BIPRSW is hosted in the BusinessObjects WebApplicationContainerServer (WACS). WACS must be running and its port (default = 6405) open for successful connectivity from InfoBurst.

Access to legacy Tomcat web services may be required in some circumstances. To test for Tomcat web services connectivity (default port = 8080), open a browser tab and enter:
Tableau users accessing Tableau Server from InfoBurst must have Site Administrator Explorer site membership.
