This article describes how to manage folders.


Add a Folder

  • Root: Right-click the root folder (InfoBurst Enterprise) and select Add Sub Folder
  • My Home: Right-click the My Home folder and select Add Sub Folder
  • Sub-folder: Right-click any parent folder and select Add Sub Folder

Rename a Folder

Right-click the folder and select Rename It


Copy/Move a Folder

  • Right-click the folder
  • Select Copy It or Move It
  • Select the destination folder

Delete a Folder


A folder cannot be deleted if it contains objects. Move or delete all objects in a folder before deleting.

  • Right-click the folder and select Delete It

Folder Security


Access to folders is granted at the group level. A user must be assigned to a group and the group granted access to a folder for the folder to be accessible by the user.


Grant View Access 

  • Right-click the folder
  • Select Access Rights 
  • Select a group under Can't View 
  • Select the green plus button to move the group View
  • Select the X button to close

Revoke View Access 

  • Right-click the folder
  • Select Access Rights 
  • Select a group under View 
  • Select the red X button
  • Select the X button to close

Grant Create Access

  • Right-click the folder
  • Select Access Rights
  • Select a group under View 
  • Select the 1020_002.png button to grant create access
  • Select the X button to close

Revoke Create Access

  • Right-click the folder
  • Select Access Rights 
  • Select a group under View 
  • Select the 1020_003.png button to revoke create access
  • Select the X button to close
