Summary
This article describes changes required after renaming the server that hosts the InfoBurst Platform. Perform the following actions after the server is renamed.
License Update
Licensing is tied to server name. The license must be updated after the server name changes.
Configuration
The following configuration settings must be updated to reflect the new server name.
Update ServerName
- Select System > Configuration
- Category: Select General
- Select ServerName
- Value: Enter new server name
- Select Save
Update UIURL
- Select System > Configuration
- Category: Select General
- Select UIURL
- Enter InfoBurst server URL (e.g. http://<SERVER>:8554)
- Select Save
