Schedule Priority

Schedule priority is enforced when multiple schedules occur at the same time. If queues are full when the schedules start, then the group with the higher priority will be assigned the open queue position.

  • 0: highest priority that can be granted to a group

  • 99: lowest priority that can be granted to a group

  • Example: Group 1 is assigned a schedule priority of 50. Group 2 is assigned a schedule priority of 70. If a member in each group schedules a burst to execute at 10:00 AM, the burst scheduled by the user from Group 1 will take priority of the burst scheduled by the user from Group 2.
