  • Highest Schedule Priority: Assign a schedule priority for the group
    • Priorities are a relative assignment, meaning that groups assigned to a lower priority number have precedence over groups assigned a higher value when the request for resources conflict.
    • Schedule priority is enforced when multiple schedules occur at the same time.
    • 0: highest priority that can be granted to a group
    • 99: lowest priority that can be granted to a group
    • Example: Group 1 is assigned a schedule priority of 50. Group 2 is assigned a schedule priority of 70. If a member in each group schedules a burst to execute at 10:00 AM, the burst scheduled by the user from Group 1 will take priority of the burst scheduled by the user from Group 2.
