Summary
By default, the InfoBurst Portal is accessed via port 8551 (example: https://ibserver:8551/portal). Port 8551 is the main InfoBurst web service port which exposes the InfoBurst user interface and most web service endpoints. For purposes of exposing the InfoBurst Portal to external users, it is possible to configure the InfoBurst Portal to use a dedicated port to isolate it from other web service endpoints (example: https://ibserver:8700/portal).
Configure ExternalPortalServicePort
- Open a command prompt (as Administrator) on the InfoBurst server
- Change directory to the InfoBurst application root folder (default = C:\Program Files (x86)\InfoSol\InfoBurstPlatform)
- Enter IBConfig ExternalPortalServicePort <PORT>
- Example: IBConfig ExternalPortalServicePort 8700
- Enter IBConfig to confirm the setting change
