PDF

  • Content Password (optional): Supply a password to protect the file. This option provides password protect and not encryption.
  • Select Use Macro to supply customized password(s) using the Extra Column macro.
  • Split Report Tab(s)/Split View(s): Select and publish individual report tabs or views
  • Recombine: Select this option to combine the selected report tabs into a single PDF
  • View Selection (Tableau Workbook only): Select view or views to be published as PDF
  • Portrait-Landscape (Tableau Workbook only): Select PDF orientation
  • Report Bookmark: Enter the name of a Power BI Bookmark to publish (Power BI Reports only)

Print Options

Available when Destination is Network Printer.

  • XOffset: Select an XOffset value
  • YOffset: Select a YOffset value
  • First Page: Select first page to print
  • Last Page: Select last page to print
  • Options: Enter one or more print options

Excel
  • Content Password (optional): Supply a password to protect the file. This option provides password protect and not encryption.
  • Select Use Macro to supply customized password(s) using the Extra Column macro.
  • Split Report Tab(s): Select and publish individual report tabs or views
  • Recombine: Select this option to combine the selected report tabs into a single document 
  • Treat as Text (Tableau only): Select this option to treat all data as text


Extensions

Select the + icon to add one or more Excel Extensions.


Excel CSV

Publish report-level CSV.
  • Delimiter: Select delimiter
  • File Extension: Specify file extension
  • Suppress Headers: Select this option to omit column headers from resulting file
  • Quote Character: Specify a string quote character
  • Remove BOM: Select this option to omit the byte order mark from the resulting file
  • Keep data formatting: Select this option to retain report-formatted values (all values returned as STRING). Disable this option to return raw data formats (STRING/DATE/NUMBER).


BusinessObjects Requirements

Report-level CSV is not a supported format by BusinessObjects. To produce CSV, InfoBurst extracts Excel and converts to CSV. CSV formatting can be influenced by use of report-level formatting in the BI report. To avoid unused space in the resulting Excel which can influence CSV formatting, we recommend the following:

  • Original report table must contain column headers
  • Original report table must not contain duplicate column headers
  • Margins are minimized (0px)
  • Report HEADER and FOOTER are disabled
  • Report table block is aligned to top and left edge of report (0px)
  • Report table(s) must have a header row

Excel CrossTab

Publish Excel CrossTab format from Tableau Workbook. Tableau Server does not support filtering for this format.

  • Content Password (optional): Supply a password to protect the file. This option provides password protect and not encryption.
  • Select Use Macro to supply customized password(s) using the Extra Column macro.
  • Select View(s): Select view(s) to publish
  • Recombine: Select this option to combine the selected views into a single document
Extensions

Select the + icon to add one or more Excel Extensions.


PowerPoint

Publish PowerPoint from Power BI Report and Tableau Workbook. Tableau Server only supports workbook export (no views) and does not support filtering for this format.


  • Report Bookmark: Enter the name of a Power BI Bookmark to publish (Power BI Reports only)


CSV


CSV from Tableau Server does not retain column order. Columns are ordered alphabetically.

  • Select View(s): Select view(s) to publish



HTML


  • Split Report Tab(s): Select and publish individual report tabs
  • Select CSS Template (Database Query and SharePoint List only): Select a Note that contains CSS to be used to format the HTML Table.


PNG


Recommended for mobile devices.

  • Page Range (optional): Specify range of report pages to render as PNG image. Leave blank if the range of pages is variable.
  • Image Width (optional): Specify image width (pixels)
  • Image Height (optional): Specify image height (pixels)
  • Split Report Tab(s)/Split View(s): Select and publish individual report tabs or views
  • Report Bookmark: Enter the name of a Power BI Bookmark to publish (Power BI Reports only)


Select Destination tab and Attach option to attach image file to email message.



Plain Text


  • Delimiter: Select a delimiter
  • File Extension: Specify file extension
  • Split Report Tab(s): Select and publish individual report tabs



Data Provider CSV


  • Delimiter: Select delimiter
  • File Extension: Specify file extension
  • Quote Character: Specify a string quote character
  • Suppress Headers: Check this option to omit column headers from resulting file
  • Remove byte order mark (BOM): Select this option to omit the BOM from the resulting file
  • Select Data Provider(s): Select and publish individual data providers



Tableau Hyper


  • First Row Headers: Un-check if first data row is not column headers
  • Select Report Tab(s): Select and publish individual report tabs
  • Select Data Provider(s): Select and publish individual data providers
  • Warn if empty (do not create): Select this option to prevent delivery of an empty Hyper file



Tableau Packaged Workbook


  • TWBX To Embed: Select a TWBX file
  • First Row Headers: Un-check if first data row is not column headers
  • Select Report Tab: Select report tab data to use



Power BI Semantic Model


  • First Row Headers: Un-check if first data row is not column headers
  • Select Report Tab(s): Select and publish individual report tabs
  • Select Data Provider(s): Select and publish individual data providers
  • Auto Join matching columns: Select this option to auto-join matching columns when the Semantic Model contains multiple tables. This option cannot be enabled for a Sematic Model which already exists without auto-join. The Semantic Model must be deleted and then re-created using this option. Be advised that deleting a Sematic Model results in deletion of associated Power BI Reports.
  • Warn if empty (do not create): Select this option to prevent delivery of an empty Data


Power BI Service Limitations


Schema


Power BI Server prohibits changes to the schema of an existing Semantic Model. A change to table name and data type are not allowed and will result in Burst abort.
