BI4 - Export in Excel format failed (Crystal Reports)

Problem
The following error is returned in the burst Activity Log when publishing a BI 4.x Crystal Report:
Error ==> Export to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\InfoSol\InfoBurstPlatform\_RTS\61\12\0000\xls_1\Daily Report.xls' in Excel format failed
Cause
The issue occurs when the report processing mode is set to Server On Demand and the platform connection type is Java. The issue may be caused by an
insufficient heap size setting in BusinessObjects.
Solution
Consult SAP Note 1837469 for the solution. Please consult your BusinessObjects administrator prior to implementing this change.
