Problem

The following error is returned in the Burst Activity Log upon REFRESH of a BI 4.x Crystal Report:

Error ==> Error exporting Crystal RAS XML. :: The system cannot find the path specified.

Cause

Rows returned by report exceeds the number of rows defined in the Crystal Reports 2013 Viewing and

Modification Service setting Number of database records to read when previewing or refreshing a report (­1

for unlimited).

Solution

Please consult your BusinessObjects administrator before implementing this change.

• Determine total number of rows returned by the report and multiply by 5 
  
• Open CMC > Servers > CrystalReports2013ReportApplicationServer 
  
• Locate server setting Number of database records to read when previewing or refreshing a report (­1 
  
• for unlimited): 
  
• Enter number from step 1 
  
• Re­start CrystalReports2013ReportApplicationServer
