The following error is returned in the burst activity log during the refresh of a Web Intelligence:
Error ==> Outcome:FAIL_JOBSERVER_PLUGIN (4)
Cause
Error occurs during the refresh of a Web Intelligence document where the bursting parameter is an IN-LIST prompt. The error will only occur when the document is processed using server instance processing mode. Server instance processing mode is used under the following conditions:
XI Server deliveries
Publication in NATIVE format for any delivery destination
The error is due to a Business Objects software fault and is specific to the following XI platforms:
XIR2 SP5
XI3 SP1
XI3 SP2
Solution
For XIR2, the issue is resolved in SP6.
Business Objects is aware of the issue in XI3, but has not resolved the issue.
