Problem
The following error is returned in the burst activity log during EXPORT:
Error ==> Export to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\InfoSol\InfoBurstPlatform\_RTS\260\35\0050\html_1\HTML_Delperflocationitem_API_201101.htm' in HTML format failed :: getDocumentInformation exception (Error: WIS 30272) (Maximum character output size limit reached. Contact your BusinessObjects administrator. (Error: ERR_WIS_30272))
Cause
The error can occur when a file (size) published from a BusinessObjects document exceeds the WebIntelligenceProcessingServer Maximum Character Stream Size.
Solution
Increase the Maximum Character Stream Size limit. There is no recommended setting as file sizes can vary. Experiment with the setting.
Open the Business Objects Central Management Console
Open Servers List
Open the appropriate Business Objects server
Open the Properties of the WebIntelligenceProcessingServer
Edit the Maximum Character Stream Size
Save and re-start the WebIntelligenceProcessingServer
