Unable to process request -­ Check license for possible expiry

Problem


For an InfoBurst server with a permanent server key applied, the following error is returned in the user interface or

server log:


Unable to process request at this time (Check License for possible expiry?)


Cause


In builds 123 and earlier, server licensing is tied to server name and MAC address. If either detail changes, the

license will revert to a 15-­day DEMO license. 15 days from this occurrence, the server is disabled.


Solution


The issue is addressed in builds 124 and later. Please update to the latest build of InfoBurst.


To overcome the issue prior to update, please open a support ticket and we can issue a temporary key to enable the

server until the update is complete.
