BI 4.x - Internal server error. (RWS 00070)

The following error occurs when running a Burst or XDC that uses a BI 4.x document:

Internal server error. (RWS 00070)

InfoBurst interfaces with BI 4.x via the BusinessObjects RESTful Web Service (RWS). BusinessObjects responds with the error when InfoBurst makes a request via the RWS. The error is generic and the exact cause is unknown.

Users reporting this error have resolved it by restarting the WebApplicationContainerServer (WACS) in the BusinessObjects CMC. WACS hosts the RESTful web service.

The following error can also be a symptom of this issue:

Error while copying content to a stream. => Unable to read data from the transport connection: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
