Tableau UPLOAD error "Payload is either malformed XML/JSON or incomplete (400000)"

A WebI document contains a variable whose name contains a space (example: Product Group). The document also contains an option parameter on the variable where the parameter name does not contain a space (example: ProductGroup). A filter is applied to Product Group. A parameter macro for the filter variable is used to name a file that is uploaded to Tableau Server ([=Product Group]). The following error occurs on UPLOAD:

Payload is either malformed XML/JSON or incomplete (400000)

This issue is under investigation.

This issue is resolved in Build 237 SP1.
