A DBQuery Event uses Auto-Reset and Reset is set to "When Schedule Ends (Complete or Abort)." In this scenario the following Server Log error is followed by a service crash:
[EVT_RESET] : Unhandled Exception Occurred, Please report to development immediately.
This issue is under investigation.
The issue can be worked around by changing Reset to "When Set."
