Implement Access Rights on Network Folders

It would be helpful if Network Folders added under the System area of InfoBurst could have Access Rights set on them (similar to how Platforms have access rights that can be applied based on InfoBurst group).


Our organization has several departments with different Network Folder locations but we do not all share access to these locations (access is based on department). The current situation with InfoBurst is that once a Network Folder is added, all users have the ability to access it in InfoBurst but we would like to be able to limit the visibility in InfoBurst based on group membership.

Thanks for the idea Lindsey. It is a good fit for InfoBurst and we are working on it for InfoBurst 2023.2. Will update the forum when the new version is available.
