Support SSH Key-Based Authentication for SFTP Connections

We are currently using InfoBurst Enterprise (v2023.4) for automated SFTP integrations.
At present, InfoBurst supports password-based authentication only for SFTP connections.
This is a security and compliance concern for our organization.
Most enterprise security standards mandate SSH key-based authentication for SFTP and explicitly discourage or disallow password-based access.

Why This Feature Is Important
• Password-based SFTP is not compliant with modern enterprise security standards
• SSH key-based authentication:
• Eliminates password rotation risks
• Enables stronger non-interactive automation
• Aligns with cloud, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices
• Many third-party vendors and internal SFTP servers only allow key-based authentication
• This limitation prevents us from fully adopting InfoBurst for secure file transfers

Requested Capability

Please add support for:
• SSH key-based authentication (RSA / ED25519 keys)
• Ability to upload and manage private keys securely within InfoBurst
• Optional passphrase support for private keys
• Compatibility with standard OpenSSH SFTP servers

Hey Nikitha. Thanks for the great requirement detail. We plan to add SFTP (SSH) key-based authentication later this year (2026). I will update this forum when we have a release date and version.
