Users and SMS Status
Users
For purposes of tracking and auditing, a Twilio SMS recipient must have an InfoBurst user account. To send a message to an existing InfoBurst user, the user must have a valid phone number configured in their user profile. If a phone number is provided that does not correspond to an existing InfoBurst user, then an InfoBurst user account of type Recipient will be automatically created when first message is sent.
SMS Status
SMS Status is available under System > Users > User > SMS Details > SMS Status. A user's status is Opted-In if they have received a message from InfoBurst. If the user replies STOP to a message, then their status will change to Opted-Out which means they can no longer receive a message from InfoBurst.
Reporting
The following Discover reports are available (System > Discover > Category:System) for Twilio SMS auditing:
- Twilio SMS Messages Sent: List of messages sent per user
- Twilio SMS Opt-In Users: List of users with Opted-In status
- Twilio SMS Opt-Out Users: List of users with Opted-Out status
