InfoBurst 2023.3 Overview

New Features & Enhancements

Burst

New Excel Extension added (Set Number Format) to allow formatting of a number or date column

Tableau

• Support added for Tableau 2023.1
• Option added to use Tableau Personal Access Token (PAT) at individual user level in user Platform Credentials

InfoBurst Portal

• Squirrel: Pass Portal ID to Squirrel External Parameter
• Dashboard Applications: Upload and host custom web applications and control dashboard/web application launch options
• Version Naming: Version name can now use either default data context or result of File Name value
• Content Viewing: Only content will be displayed (no version listing) when Content Group contains only one version

System

• Authentication: Open ID option added for InfoBurst user interface and Portal authentication
• InfoBurst Apps: Legacy InfoBurst Apps can be disabled (System > Configuration > Category:General > EnableApps)

Fixed Issues

• Excel XDC refresh error "File already exists"
• SAPVariables out of order
• Schedule Re-Run options all selectable
• Tableau Workbook Excel data truncated
• BusinessObjects Platform display issue when using SSL option
• SharePoint List File List save error "Missing value for cuid for sharepoint file reference"

InfoBurst moves to 64-bit starting with InfoBurst 2021.1. 64-bit means new features, faster performance, and better memory allocation for handling of large data sets. See Release Notes for list of new features in 64-bit. Please review 64-bit Migration before proceeding with a 64-bit installation.
