InfoBurst 2026.1 Overview

Enhancements

Microsoft 365 Platform

The OneDrive Platform has been renamed to Microsoft 365 and has been enhanced. Use the Microsoft 365 Platform to deliver files to and read files from SharePoint sites, Microsoft Teams channels, and OneDrive My Files. All are considered "sites" by Microsoft and are available in the My Sites folder when browsing a Microsoft 365 Platform.

The Microsoft 365 Platform is recommended for SharePoint users as it does not require a SharePoint site URL. This Platform type does not support SharePoint Lists. Use the traditional SharePoint Platform if reading from or creating SharePoint Lists is required.

The OneDrive sharedWithMe API has been deprecated by Microsoft. The Shared folder option is no longer available via InfoBurst for OneDrive users.

Google Drive Platform

Support added for Google Workspace Shared Drives. Deliver files to and read files from a Shared Drive folder.

Power BI

Option added to auto-join matching columns when Semantic Model contains multiple tables. The option is only available when multiple WebI report tabs are selected.

Burst

  • For a SharePoint Platform delivery where Allow Change is enabled, the SharePoint Site URL field is now macro-aware. Use this option to burst to different SharePoint sites by dynamically suppling the site portion of the URL using a Data Source.
  • Ad-hoc option for SharePoint Platform delivery removed due to deprecation of Basic Authentication by Microsoft
  • Run as Owner option suppressed when Burst owner runs Burst manually

Query Performance Logging

Enable Trace Performance on a Database Query or XDC Cache Query to capture and view query performance details.

Macro Builder

Option added to the Macro Builder to adjust today's date to test a Date Macro for a future date.

System

  • Analytics dashboard (Monitor > Analytics) updated to include system queue information (select Activity) and Analytics BETA removed
  • Drillable activity chart added to Monitor > Users
  • Option added to define a folder when running a Discover object report
  • Platform Status Endpoint added
  • Review rejection email notifications now sent to Review Group and user who executes a rejected Burst
  • NavBarMessage value (System > Configuration) now displayed on browser tab
  • Table controls added to object History tab to allow column sorting
