New Features - What's New with Build 235?

Tableau

• Support for Tableau’s Hyper:  Publish a .Hyper file from a Web Intelligence or a Database Query
• Tableau Workbook: Refresh a Tableau Workbook and publish in PDF, PNG Image and CSV formats
• Tableau 2018.1: Build 235 is certified for Tableau Server 2018.1

XDC (XML Data Cache)

• OData: Access Cache Query data using OData. Any tool that supports OData V4+ (For ex: Microsoft's Power BI) can consume XDC's cache query.  

User & Group Management

• Authentication Data Source: Manage InfoBurst Portal and other users using a Data Source such as Database Query or Excel. 

Platforms

• Access Control: Control access to a Platform by InfoBurst User Group
• SharePoint: Options added for SharePoint SSO, use of non-standard SharePoint Online URL, and proxy access
• BI Platform Categories: BI Categories are available to users of BI 4.2 SP04 and above

Deliveries

• Excel Function: Excel Freeze Pane option has been added to Excel Post Processing Functions
• DB Query: Publish Database Query as HTML and control formatting via CSS

System Macros

• Date Macros: Macros LASTWEEKDAYINMONTH, LASTWEEKDAYINQTR, LASTWEEKDAYINYEAR added
• Tableau: Utilize system macros to create nested projects in Tableau Server
• FTP: Control FTP connection details from a Data Source

Enhancements to Existing Features

• Tableau Project Browse: An ellipsis button is added to browse projects from Tableau server
• Tableau Data source Format: UI Supports both .TDE and .Hyper file formats
• Portal Version Deletion: Select and delete specific versions within an InfoBurst Portal Content Group

• XDC Data Source Deletion: A new confirmation dialogue is added for XDC data source deletion

• Macro enabled Content API URL: The URL for Content API is macro enabled

• Expanded View for Audit Logs:  The Audit log details now text wraps to the next line

• Extended Logging: On Start, On Complete, and On Abort Actions are now visible in the Burst/XDC Activity Log
