BusinessObjects


  • BI 2025 support added
    • Attention Crystal users: You must be on BI 2025 to use this InfoBurst version. You must also remove your current SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform SDK installation and install SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform SDK 64-bit SP5.
  • BI 4.3 SP05 support added
    • Attention Crystal users: You must be on BI 4.3 SP05 to use this InfoBurst version. You must also remove your current SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform SDK installation and install SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform SDK 64-bit SP5.
  • The Excel .xls format is deprecated in BI 2025. Users of this format in Burst Deliveries must update to use .xlsx before moving to BI 2025.
  • Add static PDF and Excel files from BusinessObjects


Burst

  • History tab added at object level and displays object edit history
  • Send Email retry added. Up to three retries will occur when an SMTP relay request times out.
  • When a Burst item total processing time exceeds the Max Generation timeout setting, the item processing will be retried based on the system-level RTSRetryMax setting (System > Configuration > RTSRetryMax). Burst option added (Burst > Burst tab > Allow MaxGen Retry) to opt out of Burst item Maximum Generation retry logic.



XDC


The new XDC Explore feature allows users to create Cache Queries using AI. Enter a plain language question about the data cache, validate the AI response, then save the resulting SQL as a Cache Query. Add data source and column descriptions for improved AI interpretation. Explore requires an OpenAI access key.



System

  • InfoBurst Authentication enhancements:
    • Enforce password length/complexity
    • Require password change at next logon
    • 'Forgot Password' option
    • Disable user after multiple failed logon attempts
  • Owned object ID(s) added to error message when attempting to delete user who owns objects
  • Windows Server 2025 support added
  • Oracle .NET Managed Data Access driver upgraded to 21C
